On a brighter note, Miles had his 4 mo checkup today

He's doing so well.

Weight is 16 lbs 12 oz (81st percentile), height is 16.5" (40th percentile). And these are on the "typical" growth charts, so he's doing REALLY well for a Down's baby (not that I want to EMPHASIZE that of course, right Gibby?).

We also got the go ahead to do another swallow study to see if his aspiration issues are getting better and we can put less oatmeal in his formula. Crossing my fingers on this.

His pediatric opthalmologist appointment is next month (to check for cataracts and far/near sightedness), and I'm still a little worried about that, but we'll just take things one day at a time and hope for the best.  

Can't do anything more, can you?
