do you ladies normally go on your own or does your DH go with you.. My hubby didn't pay attention to me when I told him the time and freaked out today.  Luckily he was able to rearrange his work schedule so that we can share the moment together... I am a bit nervous and love the fact that he wants to be there.

My dh went the first time, but after that he didn't. There really wasn't anything for him to do but wait in the waiting room. Good luck!

my next cycle will be our first IUI.  so sorry have no exp with dh being there. though he does need to bring in his "sample" so that they can do it.

thats so sweet your dh wants to share it with you. 

i want dh there so that at least he can be present for the "injection of sperm" i know conception doesnt happen there but i want him to be with me.   him, my RE, the nurse and me/  we're going to have a foursome. LOL.

My DH went with me even though he could have just left after he did his thing. He didn't go in the room with me, but it was nice knowing that he was in the waiting room. I can also tell my kids that their daddy was there when they were put in me

why didnt he go into the room?  did they not allow it?? I had asked them if he would come and they said yes like it was no big deal.  Hopefully he is allowed in the room cause I think he's excited about being in the room now.

My RE's office allows the sperm to be done at home and dropped off at their office, so he wouldn't even have to make the trip with me.

They are allowed, he just doesn't want to be in the room and I was fine with that..

GL tomorrow. I just completed my 3rd IUI cycle and my DH has never come with me, but I do see husbands come in with their wives from time to time. I think it is just a personal choice. Hope everything goes well for you!

Good luck! I had my first IUI today, I was anxious beforehand too, but it turned out to be easy.

My husband didn't come with me, he had to go back to work after his part.

 Let us know how it goes.

Good Luck to you.  I've only had one IUI and DH didn't go with me.  He did his thing at home, I delivered it and waited about an hour and then had the IUI.  I often see men waiting in the waiting room at the the RE's.  How nice that he wants to go with you!  Maybe go out to breakfast or lunch if you have to wait.

that is exactly what we are doing..  drop off "the kids", get the car inspected, go to the diner for breakfast, then back to RE's for IUI

My first two, I went alone b/c of work schedule conflicts, but the last one, he was there for. It's much for fun (if you can call it that) if he's there holding your hand. Good luck!
