Turned Spindle Crib without Drop Rails?

Hi Ladies!

I really love the look of the turned spindle cribs like this one:

However, I want something that doesn't have drop rails (for safety) and that is low enough for my 5'4" self to reach the baby.

Babies R Us carries a jenny lind style that doesn't have drop sides....I don't really know about the mattress heights though.
