I find it so funny that everyone tells you not to stress out about not being able to get pg. Really I don't stress (not too much yet anyways)...but you know where the stress comes from? My damn job! We used to have four secretaries in my office and then in January one girl went to another part of the departement. We really needed one more back then so now we are really shorthanded since they never bothered to replace her. This week she is off and so is the guy who works in my office, so there are only two of us running the whole department as far as secretaries go. So not only do I get to work long fun hours (I went in at 7am today and left at 4:55pm...gah!) and run my usual job, I also have to find time to do the other girls job (she works with the mammography staff and inputs thier cases).
The icing on the cake today?? I got pulled into a meeting with my boss, the head of HR and the head of Health Infomation Management (basically medical records) because they had recieved a letter stating I have violated HIPAA. Ya'll this is serious s*&t that could get me fired!! The claim was that I looked up a former co-workers test results basically just to be nosey. Thank God the last time I had actually looked it up was when he called and asked me to send it somewhere for him back in July and I (for once) had all my brain cells clicking and remembered that he had done that. I'm not the only person who has had this done to them, another girl I work with also got called into a meeting about the same thing about a week ago. We have been having problems with one of our current co-workers who is looking more and more like a complete psycho bi*&t the longer she is with us. (Even though the letter was "anonymous" we're all pretty sure it came from her) Last I heard today the other girl was being asked what she was doing at a certain time on a specific date because apparently they have that info for when she supposedly accessed the report. I really don't want her to get fired because she is a great worker and we all like her waaaay better than the other woman. The only good thing is that the letter isn't going into either of our files, mine because they said it was in the course of doing my job and her's because the letter was anonymous and couldn't be verified by the person writing it.
So yeah...no stress there at all! Wonder if my insurance would pay for a trip to the Bahams if I get my RE to write a script for that. It would be for my health and wellbeing. lol Ok I'm done and I feel better. Think I'll go walk off the rest of it. Thanks ![]()
