Really hating Facebook today...contemplating...

cancelling my account. A few weekends ago I was chatting with an old friend I haven't seen in many years and she announced to me that she was 14 weeks pregnant. Another friend of mine told her that we have been having some IF issues, so she knew and to make matters worse it was the day AF arrived. Sad

But, today, it got worse. Two other friends announced their pg as well, and not in a normal way. One must have had some spotting, so she put on her status, "after 4 hours in the ER, the baby is jumping and the heartbeat is strong" and the other one was "I'm so bummed, I forgot to make an appointment with a midwife...I have such a scatter brain" ????? I check facebook every couple of days and this is the first time I have seen any announcements like that from both of these friends. Why don't just come out and say I'm knocked up, or I'm pregnant...you have to go about it in this weird way?

I guess I'm just feeling really crappy tonight, like the whole freaking world around me is pregnant and that I'll be infertile the rest of my life. Sad

the way i see it, i don't want to let IF take FB away from me. i love it for so many other things.

i just punish my pg friends by hiding them. so i don't have to see people oogle, or see their dumb status updates. :-) it makes me feel a LITTLE bit better.
