Do people still do baby books???

So I may get induced next week and am making lists of everything I don't have.  I don't have a baby book... do you guys have them?  Where did you get them?

And I mean the ones where you put footprints, pics, etc.

Re: Do people still do baby books???

  • I bought one at Target a couple of days ago.  It's really cute and has pages for up to the 5th birthday I think.  My DH and I have our baby books and it's fun to look through them so I want my DD to have one too.

  • I bought the Guess How Much I Love You baby book at Barnes and Noble.  I like reading through mine and thought I would do one for my baby too.  Many of my friends did not do them but I guess you can say I am sentimental!

I saw this book at Barnes and Noble it is so cute !  But I already purchased mine and have been filling it up with details !

  • I bought the Binth baby book.  At first I couldn't justify the cost but after looking at baby books at Target, Babies R Us, and some local baby stores, they didn't compare to the Binth.

  • With DD, my sister found us a really cute one at Wal-Mart.  I've also seen some cute ones at BRU.  Personally, I never really wrote in it much.  I'm a big scrapbooker though, so all of that stuff has gone into DD's scrapbook instead.  There are so many options!

  • we're doing an online baby book - that way we can share it with friends & family
  • I have seen two at Hobby Lobby that were cute.
  • I was really good about filling Rylie's out until she was like 10 months old.  I'm hoping to finish it up while I'm on maternity leave with Bryce.  LOL  I have one for him too...who knows if I'll ever have time to get to his?!?!  Wink

  • I'm getting one today. Not sure when I will have this baby and I want to have the book before I go to the hospital.
  • I bought mine from Edna Mae on Etsy.  I love it.
  • i got this one by pepperpot.

  • Yeah. I have one for each of my boys. Its nice to record memories and dates and little memorabilia in. I love looking back at my 2yr olds book and realizing how much he has grown, having his weight/height, when he rolled over, etc recorded somewhere.

I got mine on Amazon (I think first DS's book was from BRU or Target)

  • I have one that was a gift from my mom.  I wouldn't have bought one on my own because it's just not really my thing.  It was really important to my mom though! LOL

  • I have one from BRU.
  • We have one for our little guy, it included some pregnancy stuff too so Ive been slowly filling out what I can. DH has his and its fun to look through, my mom never did one but I wish she would have.
Mom to 2 healthy boys, and a baby girl in Heaven. Heard her heartbeat on 7/18, heartbeat was gone on 7/20. Miss you forever.
  • I did a scrapbook for DS of his first year.  I didn't get any further than that, but that's okay.  I did monthly entries for that book, so I figure I can just do a book for each year if I ever have the time.  Or a few pages per year for a new book.

I'll do another monthly scrapbook for DD.

I have baby books, but didn't like them.  I liked scrapbooking better.  I had pages for pregnancy and my shower and his birth, first bath, and other important things like that.  I wrote out what was going on each month (or event) and put a bunch of pictures in there too.  I also added places for his hospital bracelets and things like that.

  • I have one, which is separate from my scrapbook.  It's by Carter's (called Sweet Baby Girl or something like that) and I got it on Amazon for $20-something.

  • I absoluetly love mine. I got it from www.jackscrapbooks.com. I got the blue one. I love that it has a wooden cover made of birch which is very different than anything else I have seen.
