Frustrating phone call

So I had a phone call in to the nurse at my doctor?s office because I had blood drawn last week after my m/c to find out my blood type (shame on me, I have no clue what it is.) and to see my HGC levels. Although they already did the ultrasound and saw that I had completely m/c.

Anyway, the nurse called me to tell me that my levels where a very early pregnancy. So I had to inform her that I lost the baby, and she exclaims ?did you make an appointment?! Does he know??? Ugh, READ THE CHART before you call a patient back! Seriously.

That was almost as bad as the day after when I had the blood work done and the tech asked me ?Are you already pregnant?? And I informed her ? No, I lost my baby yesterday.? @ss

Oh, and I still don?t know my blood type. They can?t find that.

  • Ugh...what is it about some nurses, they just refuse to think.Sorry she was such a troll.

When I had a sinus infection a nurse from the walk-in remembered me from getting betas 1.5yr ago and got all excited and asked me what we had. It was kinda nice to embarass her in the waiting room though, some nurses should really learn how to read.

  • I know, it's so mortifying to have to explain your situation to everyone you talk to on the phone all 50 times that you call (cause they can't get their act together in the first place). Then, they repeat everything you say so everybody in the office can hear. Ugh! Get my chart and read it already!
