"RFB Tries To Make a Baby" - Take 2!

I just got a call from my new nurse and FET attempt #1 is on.  I am tentatively scheduled for an ET on 9/8.  I just took my first Estrace for this cycle and put on my first Vivelle patch.  I wish I could be more optimistic about this, but I just can't seem to "get there."

After everything you have been thru I can see why it is hard to "get there".  But, know that all of us here are on your side and will be cheering you on to the end!  I have a feeling that this is it!  You and your DH will be in my prayers!!

It's funny I was going to reply to one of your posts to try to stay positive but then I was like, yeah, easier said than done.  I think you are being realistic.  I don't think there is anything wrong with that nor do I think it will affect the outcome, but if it's okay I'm remaining hopeful for you.  I do think it is good you are moving forward and seeking this out.  Hold onto hope.

I agree with this. I don't tend to think of myself as a pessimistic person but I definitely am a realist and I think that is where you are, too.

I'm glad you're jumping right back in. I know, for me, getting into another cycle helped take the sting out of an unsuccessful one.

I know it's hard to be hopeful, but that's all we have.  I'll be doing a FET 10/6 after my failed IVF, so I hope we both get pleasantly surprised.  Best of luck!

Oh hon, I completely understand how hard it is to be optimistic.  Do NOT beat yourself up because you dont feel positive right now.   After the journey you have had so far, I dont see how you could not feel apprehensive. 
But I think it is wonderful that you are going ahead with the FET so quickly.  I am really pulling for you that this one takes!!  It is possible!  You are back in the game and this will be your cycle.  I wish you the absolute best luck with this FET.

Hey there RFB,  I just got my BFP from FET #1 with those exact meds.  I never thought that the frozen would work since our first IVF in July transferred 2 gorgeous embies and that was negative.  My FET was positive and I'm cautiously 6 weeks pregnant.  Hold on to some hope, this may be your cycle!

I'm happy to hear that your trying again.  I know you're frustrated and not highly optimistic B/C of your recent dissapointment but hang in there and your turn will come.  We'll all be optimistic for you .
