barnyard b-day party

Thinking about DD's 2nd b-day party that is coming up in a couple of months. DD loves barnyard animals, so I was thinking of doing that as the theme. I have a huge non-finished detached garage and I was thinking about maybe converting that into a "barnyard". You know, put some bales of hay down and large posters of animals and stuff around. But as far as having actual barnyard animals, I think DD is a little too young for that and I don't want to spend a whole lot of money. Getting the hay bales, food, decorations and cake will be enough. So anyway, for those of you doing the barnyard theme...what are you doing?

Re: barnyard b-day party

  • I did not do it but helped a friend do one last month. WE got the paper stuff from oriental trading and it was all super cute. She put hay down also and we live out in the sticks so they actually had chickens so let the chickens out of the pen, and we had a friend who brought over a baby cow. She ordered a 3d bard cake that was soo yummy. She also got little cows, horses, pigs from wal mart for the kids to take come. OHH she ordered her DS a cow outfit from ETSY that was too cute. Good Luck

  • I would page BrittneyCC1982 She has saved a ton of stuff for her daughters Barnyard theme Bday party.
  • Thinking of doing the same thing for my DD's 2nd birthday. ?In my hometown, there's a "Barnyard Zoo" so I'm hoping we can have it there. They can take care of and provide the animals in a safe setting and we can take advantage of what "props" they have a build our decorations around that. ?You should check out flickr.com and search for Treasures and Tiaras Birthday parties. ?They have the cutest "girlie barnyard" themed party. Trying my best to "bite" every single idea they have for my baby's party. ?Super. ?Cute.?
