Ow, lupron headaches?

    I think the only thing you can take is tylenol.

    i don't like all this talk about lupron headaches....     when did they start for you?   right away?   or after a few days?     tonight will be day 3 on lupron for me...

    and i think tylonal is your best (and only?) bet for pain meds.    in addition to water, a nap, and other non-med solutions.     hope you feel better soon!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    I've been on it over a week and woke up with one this a.m. If I remember correctly from last time, I only had a couple of them.

    Tylenol.  I started Lupron on a Wed and that Fri night the headaches just hit me.

    Ditto previous posters - you can only take Tylenol.

    My lupron headaches didn't kick in until I had been on it a week. Ouch! Thankfully as soon as I dropped my dose from 10 to 5 they went away.

    Ditto the Tylenol only.  My Lupron headaches started on day 2 and I got one almost every day until I lowered my dose to only 5 units.

    Hopefully the Tylenol with help!

    Lupron headaches are the worst!  Ditto to the Tylenol.  What is your Lupron dosage?  I remember when I took 20 units I got headaches but when it was lowered to 10 units I had no headaches.  Good luck!  Hope your headaches go away!

    OK, I'll bite. If you haven't started stims and are on lupron only, I think you can take ibuprofen.  BUT - double check with your doc since they all have different recs :)  Feel better - I HATE those things!!

    I'm on 20 units, no stims yet. I'm going to grab some Tylenol and drink a bunch of water. Thanks ladies
