I just don t seem to have read any of the books they talk about on the nest book club. Right now I am reading forever by Nora Roberts. Its pretty good so far. ANd just finished Best Friends Forever, it was really cute.

I'm almost finished the _Dragonfly in Amber_ -- the second book in the Outlander series.  They're huge and absorbing.  The first one is not for the faint of heart.  But it's good.

I'm just about finished with Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner and have Bitter is the New Black next on my list.

I have only read best friends forever by JENNIFER WEINER but I really like her. I will have to check that other one out also. THANKS

I LOVE Jennifer Weiner.  I'm also a big Sophie Kinsella fan.

 I just bought "Friday Night Knitting Club" by Kate Jacobs.  I just bought it about an hour ago, so I haven't started reading yet. LOL

I just finished "The Sparrow and The Bird" by Hanan al-Shaykh last night. It was good! It's the true story of the author's mother, who was married against her will as a teenager to her much-older BIL. I just started the 2nd Sookie Stackhouse novel by Charlene Harris (these are the books that True Blood on HBO is based on).

I am reading Unnacustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri (who also wrote the Namesake and Interpreter of Maladies which is AMAZING). I just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, (both by Khaled Hosseini) We Were the Mulvaneys (Joyce Carol Oats), and Bel Canto (Ann Patchett). All were fabulous.
