Would it be inappropriate?

To make a "costume" change during M's party Saturday night?

I have two dresses that I want to wear and I can't decide which one.

  • LOL, do it!

Or pretend you spilled something on dress A.

And now post pics of your dresses!

  • hmm - is there a natural break in the day?  Like if you were going bowling and then out to dinner then it's OK.  If the whole party is at your house and you were planning on just changing at 9:30 then it's odd, IMO

  • I don't see the big deal. I mean, I know it's his birthday, but at the end of the day, it's still all about you, you know? And, you planned the party, so you should be allowed as many wardrobe changes as you like.

    Let's see these dresses!

  • Yes, we must see pictures of the dresses in order to figure out how important it is to find a way for you to wear both!

  • Dress A is this dress in a different print with a black band around the waist:

     I'll see if I can find B.

  • B is a yellow strapless maxidress with some smocking/ruching on the bodice.

  • I really can't tell if you're serious?

That sounds cute, too! Okay, so now we need to figure out a natural break in the party, in which you'd go and change. Which one do you want to wear longer? Which is more comfortable?

  • This is where you lose me.  For real?

I mean, this IS for a 3 year old's party, right?!

Granted, I ain't nothin' but white trash and now a Harley biitch but seriously, that is a dress I would wear for a wedding (or Donnie's birthday party).  For my 3 year old's party at my house?  WAY over the top.  And a wardrobe change?  WAY pretentious --- and way WAY over the top.

You know I still love ya but damn!  I wear shorts/capris and a t-shirt --- and double fist it through the whole party!  hee,hee

  • Oh wait, I don't think this is for your son right?!  What party is this?
