WDYT: Boy name Bryce

We have an odd last name, one that combined with lots of common names, sounds terrible, and makes phrases that are not too pleasant. 

We are hoping for a boy when we start TTC next summer, and throw around names now and then.  Bryce is hard to mess with and combines w/ our LN w/o mishap.  I also think it looks nice with Sydney.  Sydney & Bryce.  Opinions?

its okay. its not trendeigh, but its not traditional. it actually goes pretty well with sydney, too.

Yes, sounds good. Goes very well with Sydney. I know two men named Bryce, one with a Y and one with an I (Brice). One is mid-twenties the other mid-thirties.

Thanks for the opines, ladies!  I appreciate them.  Most common names are taken in DH's HUGE family, and all his cousins, and their kids (there are like 50 of them) have the "good ones" that go well w/ the name. 

I do like the name Henry.

I love the name Bryce!  I wanted DS to be Bryce, but DH wouldn't go for it. He said that it rhymes with rice, so he will be made fun of. I told DH that his name rhymes with bean and he never was made fun of for that, but he still wouldn't go for it!

Nice.  Bennett and Weston would really clash w/ our LN.  So could Reid.  Our LN is a common word but paired w/ FN's can get tricky.
