Fetal weight ?

I had another ultrasound today, and she said that he looked to be about 2LBS 10OZ and shouldn't be more than 6 lbs at delivery. 

I'm okay with that, as long as he stays in there till I'm full term. But now I just want to laugh and say "see I told you so" to all the people that made me feel bad about buying NB sizes!

    My sisters' boys were both about 7 1/2 lb.s and she needed some PREEMIE clothes for them, newborn should fit about ALL newborn babies! :)  YAY FOR TINY CLOTHES!  Can you tell I'm a titty bit excited about all this? haha

    The u/s estimations can be off by quite a bit and with 10 weeks (really 8-12 weeks) still to go, your baby still has a while to grow.

    The weight limits on baby clothes are TOTALLY wrong! NB sizes should be fine. My 8 lb 8 ounce baby was swimming in her NB onesies.

    keep in mind ultrasounds are normally consider +/- a pound. Not to mention that full term weights are complete rough guesses. I'm getting a few newborn items and will probably have my mom wash them for me once we have him here. I know that some brands run ALOT smaller then others. Reason I'm not planning on washing many "newborn" items until I see him in person and know what his actual weight is.

    Mine's already 7lb 3oz at 36 weeks.  Yikes.

    You DO need newborn sizes. DS was 8 lb 6 oz at birth and wore them for 6-8 weeks.

    However, reember that u/s can be about a pound off in either direction. You might have a 6 lb baby, but you might also have a 7 - 7.5 lb baby.

    Either way it will be super cute and so much fun! Have a great time with him!!!
