I'm not ovulating. =(

took my first cycle of clomid and am currently on CD22, have been taking the ovulation tests daily and still nothing.  I'm curious why sometimes the 2nd line is faint and other times it isn't there at all.  Does anyone know?  I'm not regular and took provera to get AF.

Hi there! 

My lines always varied in darkness.  It could have to do with how diluted your urine is.  How long does your dr want you to go before being checked or taking provera?  Maybe you just need to up your dosage next time?

are you being monitored with u/s? It doesnt sound as if you were prescribed a trigger either.

I have never been regular.  Was on 100mg clomid, and I have one matured egg, triggered today

I don't always ovulate on my own. ( I think I have once since TTC)   So my doc had me take clomid + ovidrel. 

Maybe this is something you can talk to your doc about.

i'd definitely ask your doctor about monitoring your ovaries with ultrasound. not only will that let you know when you're about to ovulate, but it's a lot safer. my first round of clomid i took 50 mg and the ultrasound revealed 8 mature follicles--so if i had gone unmonitored and had sex that cycle i could have ended up with octuplets! monitoring is a very very good thing.

i never responded to clomid; nor did i o on my own.  i o on follistim.   are you being monitored?  they should be doing a b/w and u/s on about cd3,12, and possibly 19 if they think you may be a late responder.  GL

You may just have a long cycle? I didn't O this cycle til CD23! My lines would look like they were getting darker then would disappear the next day. CD22 was a day where there wasn't a line, then BAM two big bold lines the next day. But it's def worth asking the doc about.

I have my first appointment with my RE on wednesday!  I was finally referred to a RE by my ob/gyn.  I'm both excited and scared.  Thanks for all the comments at least I will go to the re's office prepared with lots of questions.

I am there with you... i am CD17, 2nd round of clomid (150mg this time).  I still have not "O" this round.  I have an appt with my dr at the end of september. 

That light line has thrown me off too.... I HATE IT!!!

Just wanted to say that on my first round of Clomid, I didn't O until CD30...  And as the pp's have said, make sure you are being monitored
