Hey - Question about the baby k'tan...

I went ahead and got one... I like it a lot but it's too big... I followed the directions and ordered a size smaller than I need since I'm short... but it's still too big... he hangs down too low in it.

Have you washed yours?  Did it shrink any?  Do you think if I washed it in super hot water and dried it on high (instead of washing in cold water and drying on low) it might shrink?

I'm sorry it's too big - that sucks!  I will say that mine does shrink up every time I wash it and stays tighter for a few days' wear.  I wash on cold and dry on low and it still shrinks, so I bet it would shrink quite a lot if you did it on hot. 

Can your DH at least wear it?

Good to know... I'll give it a shot and if it doesn't shrink enough I can always shorten it with the sewing machine. DH won't touch it He'll wear Henry but only in the bjorn When I put the k'tan on the first time (in the front carry like in your sig pic) with the sash he said I looked like a monk or something...he's so weird.

I wish I wasn't too lazy to go upstairs and get the camera cable to pull pics off... My older son Jack is obsessed with slings/wraps/carriers... he thinks they are the coolest... Today he had me use the sash from the k'tan like a moby to wrap up his stuffed ghost (his name is ghostie) in the front carry position   I took pics.. they're too cute!! I'll have to post tomorrow.

Men can be so weird.  DH decided that he wanted a K'Tan (since DS loves it so much) but he hasn't touched it since it arrived. 

I love it that Jack is wearing his "baby"!  Can't wait to see pics of that!
