It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    1.  My BFF who is adopting found out she was matched with a birth mom

    2.  Yes.  The Pacific Ocean is 3 miles from my house and we walk the dog along the coast quite often.

    3.  The Bachelor

    4.  Nothing.  Lofty goals, I know.  ;)

    5.  Yes!  We are going to the LA County Fair with my family.  I can't wait!


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)? Went to Vegas on a great vacay with hubby for our 1st anniv.

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer? Lake Michigan

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer? It's on more than just in the summer, but I like "Hell's Kitchen"

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer? Finish scrapbooking our vacation pictures (I'm a procrastinator)

    5. any labor day plans? Sleep in!

    TTC 7+ years - 3 failed IUI's; not going the IVF route; stopped treatment December 2013.

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?

    Being able to go on vacation earlier this month was nice.

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer?

    No.  Really sad, since I live in RI which is "The Ocean State".  We practically live @ my parents' pool though.  No traffic, free parking & free beverages!

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer?

    No idea. 

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?

    A BFP would be nice, but realistically, I'd like to finish organizing my file cabinets.

    5. any labor day plans?

    Not yet.

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?  promotion at work (when i thought i was getting laid off)

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer?  Yes, we go to the lake most weekends

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer?  Wipeout

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?  BFP, of course :)

    5. any labor day plans?  probably go to the lake

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?  My BFF got engaged to a great guy and asked me to be her MoH.

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer?  Nope, but I'm not a beach person, so I don't consider this a bad thing.

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer?  Hmmm....DH and I always watch Wipeout for a good laugh and it's only on in the summer.

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?  I'd love to take off a few pounds and I'd like to have my house completely cleaned and organized.

    5. any labor day plans?  Finally making it to our friends' Labor Day party in Worcester.  We've never made it because Jimmy Buffett is usually Labor Day weekend, but this year he played back in June.

    1. what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?   All of my new wine! ;)

    2. have you been to the beach/lake this summer? Yes, we wen to the jersey shore for the week!

    3. fav tv show on in the summer? Not really a summer show, but I Nextflixed House ( I had not ever really watched it before)

    4. what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer? Cleaning and completely purging any or all crap from my house.

    5. any labor day plans? Mourning the end of my summer vacation :(

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?  my job finally lifted the residency requirement and now dh and I can move wherever we want and I've lost some weight

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer?  i've been to the beach a couple of times for work but not for play :(

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer?  true blood =)'

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?  lose more weight, meet with new RE

    5. any labor day plans?   dh and i leave for our vacation on 9/4 - can't wait :)

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)? how sad is this... I can not think of anything!

     2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer?  The lake yes.  We have a boat and are lake rats.  No beach yet, but going to Cozumel to Scuba dive and relax next month

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer? watching a lot of Anthony Bourdain lately

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer? Trim and new doors hung in the house (neverending list of projects)

    5. any labor day plans? taking Friday off too so I will have a 4 day weekend!  Maybe go Scuba for the day at a nearby lake, SLEEP, and work around the house.

    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     My mom took me to NYC for my bday. Saw Rock of Ages

    A trip to the EasternShore on our boat.

    Celebrating my brother coming home from Texas. Taking the boat out.

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)? Hasn't happened yet, but it'll be seeing a friend I haven't seen in a really long time! And hopefully seeing a Snow Patrol show in the same weekend.

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer? No. It's hardly been warm enough except for the past couple of weeks when I was sick. Go figure. And I bought 2 new bathing suits too...

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer? I don't have cable. I've been surviving on M*A*S*H reruns.

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer? See question 1. And getting a good start on my classes this semester.

    5. any labor day plans? None on the actual day. But I turn 26 that weekend. No plans for that either though - DH and I don't drink and he has to work anyway. And of course we're trying to save money.

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?

    I was able to read a lot. That is all I can come up with, it's been a very crappy summer.

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer?

    Yes, once to the beach and twice to the lake. I love being around water and wish I went more.

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer?

    is True Blood only on during the summer? Usually it's Big Love but it hasn't returned yet.

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?

    Reading 6 more books and getting answers to H's azoo

    5. any labor day plans?

    going to visit H in Oklahoma and I can't wait!!

    1. Getting a nice, big raise at work - it is so nice to be rewarded for all of the hard work I have put into my job.

    2. No - and that makes me sad.  But, I am going ot Hawaii for 8 days in November!

    4. Jump start my weight loss - I have gotten lazy.

    5. Just haning out with friends and the hubs.  I will be home and am excited to entertain after being on the road for the past month for work.

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?  We spent a blissful week relaxing in Florida with our very good friends.  It was kind of healing.  Although I think its effects are starting to wear off.  

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer? A couple of times

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer? We don't really watch t.v.  The favorite show we watched this summer was season 2 of Weeds on netflix. 

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?  Lose a tiny bit more weight.

    5. any labor day plans? None really.  I've been avoiding big get-togethers- too much stress for me right now.

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer? Secret Life

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer? Start working out again

    5. any labor day plans? Not yet but probablya BBQ somewhere

    1.  what is the best thing that happened to you this summer (not IF related)?  Probably our mini getaway to St Augustine a couple of wks ago

    2.  have you been to the beach/lake this summer?  I live in FL... yes!

    3.  fav tv show on in the summer?  Royal Pains, Monk, Entorage

    4.  what do you hope to accomplish before the end of summer?  Get Pregnant!

    5. any labor day plans?  Nothing concrete.  DH has his fantasy football draft at our house on Labor Day... I love party planning, so I'll be entertained prepping the food, and eventually handling the board.  LOL
