Made first RE appt, endo Q's, saifw!

Today I called and made my first appointment. It feels like a very big step in the right direction. The receptionist said that at the first appointment the doctor might prescribe a few medicated cycles and then if I wasn't pregnant, we would go on to a lap from there. For right now, my husband and I have decided to not go on fertility medications, but to get my endometriosis treated. I'm just not sure if my doctor is going to think I'm crazy for wanting a lap first. What are your experiences?

If you suspect endo, then I think you're absolutely pursing the right path!

I also have Endo and had my first Lap back in 2006 and was put on Lupron depot, I hated it!! I cryed all the time and gained weight.

Anyhow after having a lap is the best time to get pregnant, since your cleaned of all the damaged tissue until your next period...

My Re put me on fertility meds & IUI right away cause he had my records and knew I already had 2 surgerys and was treated with Lupron so I would have lap done then try to conceive

I think it is very good that you are seeking treatment.  My one suggestion would be to make sure that your new RE specializes in endo so that they can best prepare a game plan for you.
