Femara and CM (poss. TMI....sorry)

Hi girls.  I don't ovulate regularly.  I was on CD 15 Saturday and woke up to what seemed to be EWCM.  Lots of it.  I didn't use an OPK since I'm not going to the RE right now.  I did, however, take Met and Femara this month.  But I am still seeming to have a lot of CM, 2 days later.  It comes and go.  Is this normal?  We're having TI, but I am not getting my hopes up since I'm not being monitored.

Have any of you switched from Clomid and Femara and noticed more CM and less s/e.  My s/e have gone down and my CM is heavier-so I hope that says my lining is better too!

Please share any thoughts, ideas or information you might have.  Thanks so much!

Re: Femara and CM (poss. TMI....sorry)

  • Clomid can cause a ton of side effects, lack of cm to be one of them. Femera does not cause any (or many) and that is why a lot of doctors are starting to make the switch to using Femera regularly. CM is good, since you normally do not ovulate on your own, that is most likely why you are noticing a lot more then normal. Keep having sex, once you ovulate, things should start to dry up.
