Hey there - I saw you recommend Oriental Trading Co for art supplies over on the parenting board. I just checked out the site and I'm in love! Any must have's that you'd recommend? I think the stamps look like fun, in particular the ones with knobs look like they would make things easier for toddlers.
Re: Brightning
There are so many things!
We have all of their foam animal stamps and have been happy - they're really big! https://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse/processRequest.do?requestURI=processProductsCatalog&sku=56/2338
I want to get the ABC stamps with knobs, but haven't gotten them yet.
I was really UNhappy with these stamps, very tiny and the tops kept breaking off. https://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse/processRequest.do?requestURI=processProductsCatalog&sku=12/1935
If you're going to give her stamps, I'd really recommend a washable stamp pad. Ours is from a local store but I'm sure they're online.
My DD has a ton of art supplies, but I think it's nice to have the following:
Construction paper
Paint
Colorful foam
Googly eyes
Pompoms
Feathers
Sequins/beads/rhinestones
Glue and/or glue stick
Tissue paper squares
Painter's palette - perfect for separating little pieces for a project
Mini paper plates - I put paint on these and throw away when done
Some fun extras are:
Popsicle sticks
Glue dots (way easier than waiting for glue to dry with an impatient toddler)
Glitter glue
Hole puncher
Pipe cleaners
Foam shapes
