Progress this week!

I had my weekly OB appt. and I'm now 80% effaced.  She said my cervix is paper thin and dilation is close.  The baby's head is also well planted in my pelvis.  So, all is well!  I was hoping for some dilation, but I'm just happy there was progress.

    Yay for progress!

    I've got an appointment tomorrow, so I'm interested to see how much difference there will be from last week!

    Yes, we are getting very close.

    In fact, I think I might be losing my plug.  Either that or the internal is causing me to spot.

    Yay for progress! I think I was only about 50% effaced and a fingertip dilated at my last appt. (38 weeks). :( My doc mentioned that her hear was down, but still not engaged at all. That worries me a little since she is measuring large already with a really big head.  Wasn't your baby measuring big too?

    I measured really big one week so my OB had me go get an ultrasound to see how big she really was.  Turns out she is barely above normal on size.  I was just carrying large that week because the last 2 appts. I've measured on track.

    Oh, ok. I will have another detailed growth u/s on Thursday so we will see if she is still measuring big.

    Oh you are so lucky!!! Yay for progress! I am hoping for some progress this week. I have an u/s tomorrow and my 39 week appt on wednesday so I am hoping I am with you in the progress department.
