My friend is on round 2 and her OBGYN is telling her she does not need to increase her dosage from 50 mg as her cycles are 28-29 days regularly. This does not sound right to me. Any thoughts?
Is she being monitored, you would be able to tell how well the clomid is working for her by simply being monitored.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

it depends on your friend's diagnosis, which she might not know the full extent of yet b/c she's still seeing an OB/GYN. try to encourage her to see an RE if she's having TTTC.
length of your cycle shouldn't have much to do with the dosage...it should be based on how many follies were being produced. If the doc did an ultrasound and she had a good number, there is no reason to up the dosage.
As long as it is discovered through u/s and b/w thyat she ovulated then 50mg should still be fine. For me I O'd on 50mg but my progesterone level at 7dpo was really low (less than 10) so we raised my dose to 100 and that seemed to do the trick.
Re: Clomid: Dr. NOT increasing dose due to 28 day cycle?
