Recipe post

What have you made lately?

I made this for a second time last night and totally love it! I don't like spicy food so I used a small can of green chilies instead of the jalapeno. It is so moist! It makes a lot, so I halved it this time.

This sauce is really strong, but it's a nice change of pace. I only marinade it for 1-2 hours usually. Served over white rice usually w/broccoli.

Re: Recipe post

  • I love corn bread!  I have seen that recipe but always wondered if it was moist or not (dry is yucky!) I'll have to try it! : )

I made some terriyaki chicken bowls last week for the first time, they were really good!  Don't really have a recipe, just made it myself.

And I made some pretty good pork chops the other day!  Just seasoned, browned them in a pan with chopped onion, then added some tomato sauce, a little water, and topped with cilatro.  I let them simmer in the sauce for a little bit.. yummy!  Served it with homemade mexican rice and beans.

Oooh, those pork chops sound good!!! I'd never think of tomato and cilantro. I could eat rice and beans all day.
