What have you made lately?


I guess this one should have been listed with the "homemade toys," since technically I made it. It's just foam, Sharpies and brads. I keep adding new letters as DD learns them. She really likes him!

DD requested a yellow caterpillar, so here it is! I cut a toilet paper roll and stapled it, then DD decorated it. (I saw this idea online.)

My favorite this week!!! I cut a paper plate into a spiral and DD used dot stampers and some other decorations. But my favorite part is the jingle bell glued to his tail. (We live in AZ, so I wanted him to be a rattle snake.) I used a Glue Dot to glue on the bell so DD could play with him immediately rather than waiting a day for the glue to dry. I highly recommend that stuff!

Adorable, as always!!  Thanks for sharing your ideas!  I really want to make that alphabet caterpillar!  Oh, and we took your suggestion and got some of the glue dots to use for googly eyes on homemade greeting cards and it worked like a charm!  Love them!  Thanks!

I'm going to have to try the glue dots for the googly eyes too.  I've just been using the Tacky Glue stuff.  We wait and wait for it to dry, and when it does, Cole ends up yanking the eyes off!  Grr...he's such a boy!  lol.
