Stride Rite returns?

Has anyone successfully returned a pair of shoes to Stride Rite?  I purchases my dd a pair of shoes about 2 weeks ago and she's having a really hard time getting around in them.  They seem to be too bulky for her and she's tripping and stumbling all over the place.  I'm wondering if they'll take them back or if I'm sol?

If she's been wearing them for 2 weeks I think you're SOL. No other parent is going to want to buy used shoes from a retail store.  I've returned shoes DS has not worn and been fine.

I would keep them for a while to see if she gets used to them, and if not I'd sell them on Ebay or CL.

Has she worn them outside? I doubt they will take them back unless they still look and smell new. Regardless, I'd just call them if you think there is a chance that they measured her incorrectly, b/c that is their fault. Just remember they have a 30 return policy.

I read something about refitting if they don't fit properly.  That might be my only chance.  I totally get them not wanting to sell something tha'ts been worn, but how else are we supposed to know if they fit if she doesn't wear them, you know?

I agree. If you think they made a mistake and suggested the incorrect size, then I think you should call or go in when the manager is there and explain what is going on. GL!
