How about Sat morning this week? Say 10am?
I say dogs are OK (that way I can bring mine...lol) Let's meet and walk at Mt Tabor this week. Next week we can do a westside walk, maybe Washington Park?
Her's a link to where we will meet:

It's a 2 mile walk, I only ask that if you bring a pup, please make sure they are people and dog friendly!
Let me know if you have any questions! RSVP in your post below. Hope to see some of you on Sat!

Re: For those who responded to the walking group post...
I could do this! I need to take my pup to my moms for the night (grandma is puppysitting, aww) on Saturday morning anyways.. so will walk him first then head to my moms
I've never been to Mt. Tabor park, where is the best place to meet there?
Follow the instructions on the link, we will meet at the stairs by the 60th and Hawthorne entrance.
Yay!

I would absolutely love to go (and I've been wanting to explore Mt. Tabor because I've never actually been there), but I have to work this Saturday morning (which is extremely out of the norm).
I'd definitely be up for doing the next walk and if something changes for this Saturday, I'll let you know.
As of now it looks like I am out but will let you know if my schedule changes. Thanks for organizing.
White boxer! ALL WHITE? Cannot wait to meet him/her. Mine is a little black mutt, with the cutest "sad old man" face ever. We even named him Oden after Greg Oden because of the likeness.

Awwwm cute.. I love mutts He's not 100% white, he has a brown patch on his left eye. This is a picture of him when he was 4 months old..
Ahh what a cute dog! My dog (a black lab) is my baby and I feel so bad thinking about the decrease in attention he will be getting from us soon. I told Matt we MUST make sure to get in some good snuggle time with the dog every day.
Back to the original post, though, a good walk that I love is the path around the Willamete. The eastbank esplanade walk is about 3 miles if you start by OMSI, cross over to the westside, and back over a ways down the river. It's nice scenery, lots of people watching, and easy and flat for stollers!
Bummer, I can't make it this weekend. Hubby and I are going out of town for our anniversary. Have fun!

OK seriously... my computer is posessed today.
What I was going to say was..
I know, 6 months seems like no time at all! My pup is little thanks to having some chihuahua in him but he THINKS he's a big dog. There is a great dogpark on Mt Tabor too, so we could always let them run around after our walk if there's time!

6 months does seem like it'll be here tomorrow, considering how fast this year has gone by!
Xander is small for a boxer, he's only about 60 lbs and he's short.. I think we've stunted his growth by keeping him in a kennel (a BIG kennel, but a kennel no less) so much.
I did see that Mt. Tabor had a dog park! I was thinking of heading over around 9:15-9:30 and letting him run some energy out first thing actually! I can't stay too much past 11am or so, since we're heading down to Salem about noon or so

Sounds awesome!! See you there
