I just found out today that our insurance will basically cover limitless monitored cycles of either pills or injectibles. Just out of curiousity, if you are ovulating on clomid and still not getting KU, is there likely to be a big benefit to injectibles?
Thanks!
Re: pills vs injectibles
My RE skipped clomid altogether, her belief that injectables show better egg quality, plus they d not effect your lining like clomid sometimes can. Many people move on to injectable IUI and end up pregnant after several failed clomid attempts.
Good luck!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Because we're fancy like that.
I only did one cycle of Clomid resulting in a BFN. I had to take a break for 1 month b/c of residual follicles. My RE thought I would have a better response with injectibles given my diagnosis (elevated FSH) so I immediately moved on to injectibles (gonal-f with Ovidrel and IUI) and we were successful on our first attempt.
Good luck!
