How long did your ER take?

We have to be at RE's tomorrow at 0700 for ER at 0800.  I know the 1st hour will be getting me prepped (IV, meeting with anesthesiologist, emptying my bladder, etc.) and then will probably spend an hour in recovery.  But how long does the actual ER take?  I have somewhere around 40 follicles so I guess it may take a bit longer?

Re: How long did your ER take?

  • About 20 minutes max. I always had morning appointments and always made it home by about noon (clinic was about 30 minutes away). Wow 40 follies!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!

  • Mine took 20 minutes...

I would say with 40 follies it might take a bit longer but they are quick!

  • About 20 minutes.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • Mine took a little bit longer than normal b/c I had a hard time coming out of the meds and my blood pressure got really high.  But, even with that, I was home within 4 hours of first arriving for the prep work.
  • I totally misread your question....the actual ER procedure took about 45 min for me.  I had very few follicle which apparently made it harder for my RE to find them.
  • Mine actually took about 40 minutes.  That was much longer than usual but was because I had 46 follicles. So yours might be that long.

  • I believe the actual er was around 15-20 minutes. But from the time I got there until the time I left I'd say we were there for about 3 hrs. I don't do well w/ anethesia so they accounted for that.

    GL!
