anyone work for an employer who has common health insurance across all locations. Dh works for a company that has west and east coast offices and they have been having different insurance plans at each location and the premium just keeps going up. I was wondering if they could save money by consolidating both locations under one plan. Anyone have experience with this?
Re: insurance coverage
I worked for a company years ago that was purchased by another company. Our plans were both good, just slightly different as far as premiums and some benefits.
The reps from both companies hammered out a plan that met somewhere in the middle as far as premiums and rolled it out within weeks.

kimarino- do you regret having such type of insurance?? have you hit any walls with it?
I am thankful I have it, because MA mandates IF coverage and CA doesn't! I haven't hit any walls. It's UnitedHealthcare PPO, so I haven't had any issues.
