I started menopur/Follistim on Saturday... I'm normally fine with needles at the docs office.. but when you bring them out of their element and have to administer them @ home.. it's very different for me! I cried on Saturday before DH even gave me the shot and then on Sunday it took me 15 mins to let DH near me with the needle.. I was just saying please don't hurt me.. please....
my DH is a trooper.. he has the patience of a saint and I am so grateful for him
I have my period now and I'm just an emotional train wreck... I went to the RE's for blood work this morning.. I'm waiting on a call back later today if he needs to adjust any of my meds.. and then I go back on Wed for u/s and more blood work!
the ER is going to be done sometime next week!!!!
thanks for listening....
Re: stims are harder than I thought
Hugs.
My mom, who is a nurse, gave me my first stim shot. I cried and sobbed for 15 minutes before I would let her near me. It gets easier. Hang in there.
