I see a light...

in Pregnant after 35

at the end of my tunnel.  I will go on maternity leave on September 9th!!  I have a temp coming in this week to train and she will be with me up until I leave.  I can't really Bump with a temp over my shoulder, so I may be here sporadically. 

I will let you know if LO comes before then, but as it stands now, I will be induced on the 9th.  Thats only 16 days away!  I feel ready.  The panic that I had previously has faded away and I am at peace (for now anyways).  It feels so good to have somewhat of a plan.

    I wish I had a light. I will just be sitting here waiting and waiting. Sad

    That is great news! I first came to this board right after you had had your amnio and didn't know if you would get to this point. I am so happy that things have worked out so much better than imagined. Congratulations! Only 2 weeks to go!

    Yeah, this has been a long crazy road, and there were many times I didn't think we would get here either.  LO has continued to improve and astound doctors.  He's a fighter, and I am so glad I didn't give up on him.  It tears me up to think that I was so close at one point.  If I hadn't sought a second and third (and fourth) opinion, there would be a very different ending to this story.

    Wow Shellbell- I didn't realize you had an induction date. How exciting! The peace has fallen over you while the panic has set in me! You know the drill- I'm a nervous wreck!

    Anyway, I am so excited for you! I think back at least once a week to what you went through in the beginning. I am so glad you stuck it out for Jack the Fighter! You make me smile, Shelley. :)

    The time is going to pass so fast!  So glad things are looking so good for you!  We are scheduled to have our c/s on the 10th, given the little one doesnt have his own plan!  Will be thinking of you!!

    Oh wow! Latest is 16 days and Jack will be out of the belly?! Where has the time gone?! With you being so close means I'm getting there too. Indifferent
