Nervous about dr appt tomorrow

As I have mentioned before, Keira has two scars on both of her arms from IV infiltrations. ?During a routine appointment, our pedi noticed that one of them had changed in color. ?When he asked me about it, I told him that it had happened once before and that it went away on it's own. ?I just assumed that since the skin in that area is so tender, she had bruised it somehow. ?He agreed that it could be something as benign as a bruise, but that it could also be "something a lot more concerning than that" and then referred me to a pediatric dermatologist with instructions to be seen as soon as possible. ?I never asked him what the more concerning issue could be. ?Negligent, maybe, but honestly I don't think my nerves can handle one more thing. ?I know myself and I know I would be endlessly looking things up online and worrying myself sick while I wait for the appointment. ?So I've been a good girl....made the appointment and have put it totally and completely out of my head. ?The appointment is now tomorrow and my belly has those butterflies in it. ?The scar is "bruised" again so at least the dermatologist will get to see exactly what it looks like.
