I stay home until 5 pm and then work outside of home four evenings a week, for about four hours (well, I had the summer off, but this will be my schedule starting tomorrow).
Do we count as SAHMs? Because I can relate in the sense of being with LO all day (well, except for two hours when daddy will take over), but I guess not so much with the difficulties of a one-income household.
Actually, that part is not entirely true either, LOL, it just happens to be that I'mthe one income, mainly. My husband is a full-time student, just works about 18 hours a week. Kooky scenario, I know.
I'm p/t too. I read both boards, but I post more on SAHM. If this board was here when I was first going back to work (or maybe it was and I just didn't know it), I think I would have posted more here. But by the time I found this board my work issues were fewer.
I work M-Th 8:30ish to 2:00ish so about 22 hours a week, since I am gone so much of the day I am a working mom. A friend is a nurse who works 2 nights a week and she is more of a SAHM even though she works more hours than I do.
Re: I don't know where I belong!
I kinda feel the same way.

Right! I guess we kind of have the best of both worlds
