Milo is actually an Australian chocolate drink.
But I like the name Milo better than Miles anyway.
Thanks for your input! We started out with the name Miles but I suddenly thought I might like Milo better, and surprisingly DH agreed.
My only gripe with Miles is that I don't like the sound or spelling of "Miles's." And DH's only complaint is that he feels it's still too reminiscent of Miles Davis.

ummmm ok. Well i have only had in in Jamaica so I thought it was west indian. thanks for the clarificaton.
I picked Milo. Just FYI-it's the name of the main character in a really cool children's book called The Phantom Tollbooth. I actually like it better for that reason.
You could name him Miles and use Milo as a nickname. Also, re: the possessive, "Miles's" -it is correct to say Miles' as well if you don't like the 2 S's.
I like both, but I think Miles is better as a first name (and you could use Milo as a nn). Miles is actually one of my favorite names, but our last name is Davis so there's no way we could ever use it.

Miles is "trendy"...when did this happen? LOL.
OP...I like them both a lot, but (obviously) like Miles better. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I really like both but for me Milo makes me think Milo & Otis and the hot drink Milo. (Which we also have in NZ)
If you odn't have those connotations then I would choose Milo.

exactly!
This. Miles also seems to pass the resume/diploma test with flying colors. Have fun finding out!
