? for anyone that CDs

We bought the bumgenius CDs. It says they can be worn at 7 pounds on the packaging, we were told at a shop that it was probably more like 8 pounds... well, Mikey's probably close to, or more than, 9 pounds and they're still huge on him. I mean, he looks like a cartoon character in them.

They're massive! Does anyone  have any experience with these or any other CDs? How big does baby have to be to fit in them?

Re: ? for anyone that CDs

  • We CD and have BG 3.0's... CDs are for the most part just bulkier. If you get a good fit in the leg and around the waist then they "fit".
  • Thanks Noelle! Are the 3.0's the ones that expand? That's what we have. I guess we'll just have to bite the bullet and start using them.

  • Yes, the 3.0's are "one-size" pockets (which, oddly enough, actually means that the diaper is many sizes). There are some diapers that are trimmer because they don't expand, but I think the BG 3.0's are worth the fluff because they grow with the baby. Besides, I think the fluffy butt is cute. Be sure to wash them properly or you'll get stink problems (and you may anyway from what I hear) but mostly its the inserts and that can be fixed by stripping or boiling.

Oops.. Meant to say that's what I was thinking; they're a wise investment. And my folks used to call me bubble butt, so I can recycle the name.
