If you still wanted to do waffles but on the "healthier" side TJ's has gluten free waffles that are SUPER yummy...they even have banana flavor. Just throwing it out there as an option, because I think they are yummy
Also, if you wanted to make healthy pancakes/waffles, Costco has a great pancake mix called Coach's that is loaded with fiber and protein. It's healthy, filling and it tastes good.
mixes i can are wonderful! i have to cook everything the night before and sometimes recipes are difficult. we have a TINY freezer that doesnt work well so i dont freeze too much.
no peanuts/peanut butter allowed. totally understand as that is how my school is as well.

Honey bran muffins? Yogurt with granola? Can a 1 year old eat granola?? You can always do whole wheat waffles w/peanut butter. I love those.
