Before we found out what we were having DH and I were pretty much set on a boys name and a girls name. Now that we know that LO is a boy, DH wants to make sure we've chosen the "right" name. So basically that means we're back to square one! The middle name (though I'm not crazy about) is set because it's a family name. Kay is Dh's middle name, his dad's middle name and his grandfather's middle name. Because of this I feel it's appropriate that our LO's middle name will also be Kay.
I realize, from reading through tons of posts on here, that our naming style is not at all like a lot of the gals out there but any feedback would be greatly appreciated! I've got a naming poll link in my siggy but our names list so far is narrowed down to (couldn't figure out how to make a clicky poll and gave up!) ...
Hendrix Kay (the original name we'd picked for LO)
Brodrick Kay
Cohen Kay
Greyson Kay
Holden Kay
Maddox Kay
What do you think?
Thanks in advance!
Re: Boys Name Help!
I don't like Brodrick or Maddox with the mn, because ending on a K sound and starting with one doesn't flow well, imo. Cohen also sort of falls into that category for me. I also don't like Greyson because of the rhyming 'ay' sound with Kay.
So Holden gets my vote. Very cute.
Sorry, but I agree.
Also, Cohen is controversial to use if you aren't Jewish. In a nutshell, it's offensive to a lot of Jewish people so I wouldn't consider that name if you aren't Jewish. Someone can post the link because I don't have it.
This!
