his sister's turning 30 on Monday and he made her a basket for her birthday!  it includes:

denture cream
cane tips
anti-wrinkle cream
a giant magnifying class
a pill case
a health monitor alert system pamphlet
hearing aid case

and a sympathy card that says "sorry for your loss" and he wrote it "of your 20s" 

lol  I know I'm going to get blamed for this, though... LOL

    That's pretty funny. I actually found 29 to be worse in some ways than 30.  For one thing, you are constantly reminded that it is your last year before 30, and for another, whenever someone asks you your age and you say "29," they don't believe you--either you look younger (and then they wonder why you'd choose to pretend to be close to 30) or you don't and then they think you're just covering for being 30+ already.

    Personally, I'll always be 28.

    LOL Great idea!  I wish I would have thought of that for DH when he turned 30.  LOL

    Something else to add... one of those corded phones with the HUGE numbers on them.
