Rice Cereal and BFing question

I have been using BM to mix the rice cereal for DS, but I am getting a little discouraged that the 5oz I pump every day is being used for that instead for building up a freezer stash for when we have to leave him.(We have a wedding Labor Day weekend and will be gone all day and night.) DS has 2Tbsp of cereal with about 2.5oz of BM, are there any suggestions rather then pump more - because I have tried and get maybe 0.5oz in total after my first pump of that day (5oz -1side)

my pedi said it wasn't necessary to use bm to mix with the cereal--he only advises it if you have trouble getting lo to eat the cereal. Otherwise, he said I could/should use water

I just use water to mix his oatmeal.

I was using BM at first but quickly started using water after I couldn't build up a stash. Use water!

At that stage I used apple and white grape juice too. DS loved it
