Gifts for teachers

My ds is switching rooms from the 1 year to the 2 year room at the end of next week.  I assume I'm supposed to get the teachers a gift- I would want to even if it's not "required".   Any suggestions? 

There are 3 main teachers- all in different places in their lives.  
One is an older woman with a grown daughter. 
One is unmarried in her 30's
The third teacher has 2 young kids.

I don't want to do baked goods or just a thank you note.  So anything else you can think of would be great!

I love a movie night for a gift! A basket that includes a gift card to a local video store, if you have one, popcorn, and candy.

How about one gift card to a craft store so they can buy supplies for the room? I know the teachers at my daycare spend their own money on supplies.

Hmmm...I don't know if they buy their own crafts.  I should look into that.  But I love the idea of movies.  Very creative and who doesn't like going to the movies?

we've done dinner and movie gift cards and we have also done target gift cards.  figure everyone needs something from there.

I usually do Target GCs.  Well received each and every time.  It's easier than trying to guess at someone's taste in restaurants, movies, fragrances, jewelry, etc.  There's always something you can buy at Target, even if it's toilet paper.

I always do a gift card and a pretty bouquet of flowers. What woman doesn't love to receive flowers? Plus last year DS got a huge kick out of bringing them in for his teachers, he was really proud of himself LOL!
