So far, I'm only signed up for Fast Track Birthing class, its a one day thing. I am already CPR and infant CPR certified. Any others that you took that would be helpful for a first time mom?

I took the fast track Child birthing class but it was a two day class. I was clueless about breastfeeding so I took that class and think just thinking about taking neborn child class. don't know will see. Have a good time at your class.
Our class is just called a birthing class, it's 4 weeks, and it's taught by a doula, so she puts a good spin on things. It includes lamaze and all sorts of helpful tools. It's really important for DH and I to sit together and hear the same information so we're on the same page with this stuff. I've read so many books this summer and forget that he hasn't, so this is really helping.
I'd be interested in breastfeeding, and maybe infant care. The classes here fill up so fast.
We are taking the maternity tour and an anesthesia class. At my hospital, if you take the anesthesia class they say they can often give you your epidural faster when the day comes since you have already been briefed on the ins and outs of it.
I signed up for everything I could! We just had our CPR class, and this weekend is our birthing class. We also have infant safety, bonding and breastfeeding classes coming up in September
Re: What classes are you taking?
im taking a general 6 week childbirth class that covers everything. Kinda wish I took a Bradley class though.
A breastfeeding class might be a good idea too.

We took an infant care class - which was helpful especially for DH, who is clueless about babies.
Have Infant CPR this weekend, then in the month or so we have a breastfeeding and Lamaze class.
The Lamaze one is 3 different 2-hour sessions, shouldn't be too bad.
GL!
