This might be a little bit cheese-whiz (lol) but I thought it might be encouraging for those who are new (and even for the not-so-new) to hear what has brought us hope and encouragement during the adoption process.
This is a great idea -- I've found that just when I'm at my losest and most hopeless is when I am most richly blessed. There's always another bend in the road! (And when it's particularly straight, chocolate and wine helps!)

LoL!
I agree, wine has been very helpful and is a staple in our house!
Our circle of friends who know what we've experience are helpful, not pressuring us to attend baby showers or other events that might make us feel uncomfortable.
My small faith group - the prayers, the support. ANd the reminder to keep my head up, trust in God's plan for me, instead of moping and complaining.
This is the big one, I have a note book I started in High school, where I was told to write one good thing each day. Could be an up front parking spot at wal-mart, it could be that you talked to someone you hvaen't talked to in a year. Anything. Every few months flip through your book to see all the blessings you have. Well, I lost that notebook, but started it back up last year...
I've coined my little blessings, my little sun drops. I might be in a stormy time, so much going on so much stress and such, but there ARE little sun drops through out mylife, and i'm going to choose to focus on those at te end of the day than focus on all the negative junk that is so easy to see. I hold onto my sundrops, because sometimes that's what gets me through the day!
I have to tell you that with all we went through to get Ben, we couldn't have done it without relying on God and knowing that His plan was best for us. I had to quit being selfish and just let God take control. Once I gave it all to God, I felt so much peace and a few weeks later, we got the call about Ben.
My family and friends were also so supportive of us and let us cry on their shoulders many times.

The support has been unreal. We are not a talk about your feeling kind of family but through this everyone has be so supportive and wants to for us as much as we want it.

Beyond the typical -- we will be parents one day -- belief, we've found hope & encouragement through...
- cards/emails/letters from friends and family congratulating us (even before our match)
- scripture, God's word is full of hope filled promises
- prayer both our own and the prayers of those who love us
- a new perspective, it's amazing how the decision to adopt has opened our eyes and hearts to really experience relationships to the fullest
- our birthmom, not because she chose us but her strength, courage, and determination to succeed have brought us so much encouragement
I'll stop here.
LoL!
