Pregnant after 35

Anyone want to take over the check in?

I just know I won't be able to keep up with this.  Sorry, folks!  Embarrassed

I have the initial list in Word... or you can just copy the list from last week's post. I'll follow up here tomorrow?today is Aaron's Bris and my parents gift to us is a baby nurse, who starts today.

Happy Friday, everyone.  Hope all is going well.

Re: Anyone want to take over the check in?

  • Robyn, I'll take it over unless there is someone who's been around longer who wants to. :)

    Just let me know.

I hope things go well with your new baby nurse!!

  • I would, but I would be able to only keep it up for the next 5 weeks Big Smile
  • Shannon ~ I'll be in touch tomorrow about sending the Word list of you want to just copy and paste the list from last Thursday's check-in.

    THANK YOU!

I figure in a few weeks, when I'm more alert, I'll check in here to see how everyone is doing and probably post more on the Parenting board.

  • Sounds good Robyn.  I guess the Word doc would be easier to use that way info can be added, deleted or changed if needed.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks, guys!  The Bris went well... we're all exhausted, however.

As far as the baby nurse... I was so exhausted and overwhelmed by everything (as most new moms are) that my mom said that she would pay for a baby nurse.  Basically the nurse is around 24/7 and takes care of the baby. Changes diapers. Feeds him (though I will want that bonding time with Aaron during the day) and will get him on a schedule.  She also does all his laundry and any other baby stuff.

She doesn't cook/clean or anything for us. But that's OK. As long as we can sleep, we can do that.

She'll be here for 7 days.  If my parents hadn't offered, we'd NEVER have been able to afford this!
