Does anyone else read these?  Our friend gave Hailey 3 of these books and she's OBSESSED with them.  She has If You Give a Cat a Cupcake, If You Give a Pig a Party, and If You Give a Pig a Pancake.

I can't get out of the house in the morning without reading one of them to her.  At this point, the way she sits, I can barely see the pages but I've memorized them all....

    We have those 3 -  as well as ...Mouse a Cookie and ...Take a Mouse to School.

    We have the Mouse/Cookie, Moose/Muffin. and Pig/Party ones. DS loves them - he has them memorized.

    DS looooves the Give a Cat a Cupcake one.  Some people complain that it doesn't "flow" as well as some of the others, but DS loves it!  lol.

    I want to get some of the other ones too.  If we don't have any by Christmas, that's definitely going to be on his list!

    For the cat/cupcake one, Hailey has sound effects that she does.  At the 'he might even take a karate class" line she says HYYY-YA!

    And, one part of the pig/party book that bothers me.  All of her friends are at the fair riding the bumper cars.  If they were really her friends, don't you think they would have invited her too?

    Our friend that gave them to us says that there are some he doesn't like as well.  I'm kind of leaving it up to him to buy her the other "good" ones :)

    LOL!  We do the exact same thing with the karate sound effects!!  That is too funny.  We also ROAR when we go "see the dinosaurs."

    I didn't think about roaring with the dinosaurs.  We say ooo-oo-ee-ee when we visit the hall of apes.

    Both my kids love these, too -- even though my crew is older.

    I like the original Mouse..Cookie book best.  I feel like the others got progressively goofier.  We have Mouse...Cookie, Pig...Pancake, and Cat...Cupcake.   The Cat book is really silly.  Great illustrations, though!

    I have never heard of these before.  hmm.  i have not been in a book store in a while.  DS is really loving the books he has.  but I am thinking of running out and buy 1 or 2.  we need a change!!
