What do you do when your DC wakes up too early and is crazy grumpy?

DD is completly beligerent and has been screaming for almost the 2 hours since hse has been up. I have tried cuddling, soothing, favorite show. Finally, I put her back in her room and told her to lay down. I hope she falls back to sleep. I know she's still tired, but who knows if she will relax.

maybe give her some art projects to do? What is she screaming about?

I would lay her down, play some soft music, maybe even crawl in bed with her (if her bed allows for that) and see if she will sleep.

I have no idea - she won't say. She's not sick and she's not hurt. I already checked, although, she might have bonked her head while throwing herself on the floor.

I give her a sippy of milk, crawl in bed with her and pray she goes back to sleep.

If that fails I wake up DH and crawl back in my own bed!

For crazy grumpy mornings I usually toss her in the car and go to the mall playground or zoo - something that will hold her interest and wear her out so we can both take a nap that afternoon.
