Can't remove all the endo?

I just had surgery where they found stage IV endo. She removed what she could but she said that there is endo "salted" all throughout my pelvis that she can't remove. She also said that with how widespread my endo was there was probably a lot of microscopic endo as well.

Has this happened to anyone else? Where they able to remove all your endo? Did anyone else have it salted throughout your pelvis? What happened with that?

I'm not on lupron or bcp or anything and I am just picturing this stuff coming back quickly and severely..... I'm also still in pain, two weeks after my lap....

=(

Re: Can't remove all the endo?

  • No they were not able to remove all of it, I too have severe endo that is going to need a longterm plan after I give birth.  I haven't heard the term "salted" but mine is so widespread that the docs said to stop wasting my time with IUI and head to IVF because of fallopian tube damage on the outside.
