For me it was harder to go from 0 to 1.  It was very much a lifestyle change for me.  With #2 I felt much more at ease & juggling two hasn't been bad at all.
  • Definitely 0 to 1.  Maternity leave w/ #2 was like a vacation and going back to work wasn't nearly as stressful because I'd done it already.
  • Definitely 0-1

Adding another just adds another layer of chaos at times, but you are already in 'mommy mode' so it's somewhat easier.

  • A friend of mine who jsut had #2 said going from 1-2 was harder for her. I think it will be the same for me...#2 is on the way!
  • 0-1 is harder. You are more relaxed with the second. And the lack of sleep was nothing like #1.

  • It was hard to go from 0 to a 7 year old step child.  Then just when we thought we were getting it - from a 13 year old step child to infant TWINS. Talk about total ends of the spectrum.
