I HATE fevers

I just HATE them!!!!  DD has an ear infection and is on day 7 of her 10 day antibiotic.  She wasn't acting herself today and she started to get a fever after 5.  I gave her some tylenol, but I know that I wont be able to sleep.  I am praying that it is just a 12 hour bug.  Please ease my mind....I dont know why fevers freak me out so much.

    I know how you feel, I HATE fevers too!  Yesterday my DD felt a little warm and I freaked out and took her temp.  It was fine but I always wonder whether the fever is b/c of teething, or an impending virus, ear infection, or stomach bug, etc.  I hope your little one feels better soon!

    Try to keep in mind that a fever is just showing you that her body is doing its job.  they are a good thing as long as they are not too high.  If she is uncomfortable maybe you could try motrin for her next dose.  It tend to work longer, faster and quicker.
