I think you can call your local fire station or police station and they'll do it...Babies R Us sometimes has things that they hand out flyers for on classes and the car seat installation is one of the classes they offer.
Our car seat has a thing that tells us whether it's in properly so we never took advantage of it.
Our car seat has a little level that tells us it's installed properly..if its in the orange then its not in right and poses a risk, if its in the blue then we are in the clear. So I am fairly confident ours is installed correctly.

I found this website on another bump post a while back. It lists locations that do the inspections.
you can go to www.seatcheck.org or here: https://ssl13.cyzap.net/dzapps/dbzap.bin/apps/assess/webmembers/tool?pToolCode=TAB9&pCategory1=TAB9_CERTSEARCH&Webid=SAFEKIDSCERTSQL
to find a station or technician.
I'm certified and I'd be willing to meet you somewhere and inspect your seat for you.
And almost 100% of people whose car seats are incorrectly installed believe they are installed properly.

Going through the new packet of info we got from our midwives, I ran into this phone number...
