I have almost no symptoms to speak and while I'm happy to not have MS, it is a little nerve wracking. Every day I wake up and squeeze my boobs to make sure they're still sore...at this point, any soreness is probably from my squeezing! LOL
Anyway...first US at 8 wks 4 days went great...saw HB...measuring right on track...but my next hurdle is the 12 wk appt where we'll listen for the HB.
Just looking for reassurance that no symptoms does not = bad things.....
Obviously I know there's no guarantees but still like to hear from you, if you're out there!
Thanks! Liz
Re: non-symptom people out there that are close to EDD?
With my 1st 2 children I had NO m/s at all so rest assured it is possible. Enjoy!
With this pregnancy the nausea is almost constant so every pregnancy is different.
HTH!
I can totally relate - I had no m/s or any other symptoms (other than PMS type, but minor). I WANTED to feel sick so I knew for sure everything was okay. Weird, I know - but I was so nervous. I start my 3rd trimester tomorrow, and everything has been fine with our little one. Now I'm getting more symptoms (sleeplessness, nasal congestion, swollen feet, achy back), but nothing too terribly bad. I remember how nervous I was going into our first appointment - and when they did the u/s and I saw and heard the heartbeat, I felt such a sense of relief! I just count myself one of the lucky ones!
Thanks Shannon and Carla - definitely makes me feel better - just overthinking things these days. I think more now since we just starting telling people the good news, outside of our immediate families.
I think I need to do my yoga video or some relaxation breathing!
I was totally boggled through my first trimester. I wasn't nauseous at all, and i was terrified that there was something wrong. I don't think I relaxed until the amnio came back!
Some of us are just "lucky."
I had no symptoms at all throughout my entire pregnancy. I was freaked out about it too in the beginning. What always reassured me was taking the cheapo internet pregnancy tests (to confirm I was still pregnant). I did this until I was abotu 20 weeks (weird, I know). Then I slowly started showing and didn't need that anymore. I had a healthy wonderful baby girl on my due date.
